"Instant Sunshine” concert at the Old Vic on Sunday 21st October 2007
To celebrate their 40th anniversary, Instant Sunshine are back for a live performance at the Old Vic on Sunday 21st October to raise life saving funds for our charity, Tommy’s. As many of you will know, they are a wonderfully entertaining group of singing doctors in the genre of Noel Coward and Flanders & Swan, so this is a very special opportunity to enjoy an evening of unforgettable and wholesome fun. Tommy's The Baby Charity are also celebrating, as this is their 15th anniversary of funding research into saving babies lives.
Please join us for a fantastic performance of fun and nostalgia as reflected in the brilliantly crafted comic songs of this musical quartet who offer an idiosyncratic look at everyday life in Britain! Instant Sunshine’s past concerts in aid of Tommy’s, both at the Old Vic and the Queen Elizabeth Hall, have been highly successful raising over £100K! This money has supported Tommy’s research into pregnancy health, helping to end the heartache that many parents go through when they lose their baby.
Its amazing how both Instant Sunshine and Tommy’s began all those years ago in St Thomas’ Hospital and they still come together to make a difference to people’s lives in so many ways. For further information about the event and Instant Sunshine please see the enclosed leaflet or visit
For tickets, please call the Old Vic Box Office on 0870 060 6628. There are 50 Golden Tickets that include a champagne reception but please book early to avoid disappointment!
Please pass the flyer enclosed to everyone you know and if you need more just contact us on 020 7398 3430 or email Samina at
We can’t wait to celebrate this very special evening with you but if you cannot make it this year and would still like to support Tommy’s research into pregnancy health, please send a donation by using the tear off slip on the flyer enclosed. Thank you for your very kind generosity.
With our very best wishes
